International Conference of Educational Innovation through Technology (EITT) provides a forum for researchers who study technology and education to publish research findings and exchange experiences in related topics. The conference is organized by the Society of International Chinese in Educational Technology (SICET).
 
The mission of SICET is to establish and strengthen academic and international connections, exchanges, research, and studies in educational technology for teaching and learning, and to promote the application of educational technology to teaching and learning. SICET will observe the laws and regulations in the United States where it is registered.
 
The first EITT conference was successfully held at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China between August 10-12, 2012. The conference was strongly supported by researchers in the field of educational technology all over the world. The proceedings published 92 papers selected from over 130 submissions through a standard peer-review process. The themes of the conference include emerging technologies for learning and teaching, innovative approaches to learning and learning environments, information society and culture, and virtual and flexible learning. 61 papers were presented at three plenary and eight concurrent sessions. There were more than 200 participants from China mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA, Russia, Australia, and Iran. More than 60 internationally-renowned researchers in the field of educational technology from Mainland and Taiwan attended this conference.
 
The second EITT was convened in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA between November 4-6, 2013. It was hosted jointly by Tsinghua University and Virginia Tech, in collaboration with the annual Educational Technology Leadership Conference (ETLC) EITT and ETLC shared the opening and closing ceremonies and keynotes presentations.  . ETLC brought together a wide range of leaders who were responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of e-learning, educational media, and technology programs, including division superintendents and principals, curriculum coordinators, staff development and administrative computing specialists, classroom teachers, and telecommunication professionals. The third EITT conference will be held from 27-29 October, 2014, Brisbane, Australia.
